SINGAPURA: The Musical rehearsal photos

One of our last rehearsals for 2014, as well as with Director Greg Ganakas & Kevin Kern. This was also our first time to be joined by our Singaporean artists Jonathan Lim, Selly Marina and Rachel Tay. It was an immensely inspiring and creative day, thanks to Greg with his impromptu staging and shared ideas & plans for Singapura. The cast and crew truly look forward to the start of next year's rehearsals, and to be reunited with our new family members. SINGAPORE AUDITIONS for "SINGAPURA: The Musical"

The 4th Wall Theatre Co. Pte. Ltd. is inviting all English speaking theatre performers to attend the auditions for “SINGAPURA: The Musical”.

DATE: September 26, 2014
TIME: 10:00 am to 12:00 nn / 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
VENUE: Goodman Arts Centre (Music Studio)
90 Goodman Road, Singapore 439053

We are in special need of the following roles:

Chinese female; starts out as 16 years old and ends up in her early 20's

Malay male; starts out as 16 years old and ends up in his early 20's

Malay male; 40's to 50's

Indian male; 40 years old and up

Audition Requirements:

1) Printed copy of your portfolio, including your CV and two latest photos (head shot and full-body)

2) Three (3) songs (one up-tempo and two ballads). All songs will be performed via minus-one, which you will provide. Please prepare them in mp3 format, stored in a USB flash drive.

* We will choose one ballad from the two ballads you’ve selected. The ballad should have a strong introspective character/story arc like “Send in the Clowns” from A Little Night Music, or “Losing My Mind” from Follies.

3) Study and memorize the song “Another Day in Singapore” (https://soundcloud.com/4thwalltheatre/another-day-in-singapore). You may be asked to sing the song AND perform it as a spoken monologue.

Manila Auditions will be on July 25-26, 2014 (1:00pm to 8:00pm).
Singapore Auditions will be on August 15-16, 2014 (1:00pm to 8:00pm).
