Formed in 2010, WILD EMPIRE CHORAL GROUP aims to educate choral music and singing to anyone who loves and wishes to enjoy the creation and fulfilment it brings. WE believe music is the universal language and main communication for all, no matter your social status, education, race or religion. So with The Grand Choir, WE creates opportunities for singers to explore, be at our best,with our musical talent and diligence; not just to benefit oneself, but to spread across all levels, social status; not restricting only to our peers, the talented musicians or audience in concert halls, but more importantly to bring good choral music and experience to the community. Since 2013, Wild Empire Choral Group has been a supporter for the Grand Opening of the President's Charity Art Exhibition. In 2016, WE brought in a brand new volunteer initiative - The President's Challenge Charity Choral Festival", an annual choir festival to put both music and character excellence in one - present the best choral music performances as well as to raise funds for the beneficiaries under the President's Challenge. Our Music Director Ms Ong Chiak Yin, volunteers her time to train The Grand Choir gathered from a broad age spectrum, taking up the opportunity to develop character for goodwill as much as focus on the craft of vocal art.
