Synopsis: This panel centres on The Singapore Trilogy, 3 seminal plays written by Robert Yeo since the 70s, re-staged in a single condensed adaptation by The Second Breakfast Company in 2021, and re-published by Epigram in 2022. What significance do these 3 plays (Are You There, Singapore?, One Year Back Home, and Changi) hold in Singapore's theatre history? Hear from the director, the dramaturg, and the playwright of the 2021 restaging as they share how the plays continue to raise questions of the personal and the political in Singapore society today.

Started my journey in Playwrights' Cove a number of months ago to learn the craft of playwrighting from Haresh Sharma, and met a wonderful bunch of people there. We'll all have our plays read in the early part of November, do look up on the reading schedule for each of our works, and get tickets! My play will be read on Thursday, 3 November at 8pm, directed by Adib Kosnan.
