At Wala Wala Cafe Bar, live music is more than a backdrop. It is where stories begin. Jack and Rai first stepped onto the Wala Wala stage many years ago, armed with raw talent and a hunger to grow. Night after night, they honed their craft in front of intimate crowds, learning how to command a room and connect through every chord and lyric.

Look at them now. Confident, accomplished and effortlessly in sync, they have evolved into artists with depth, chemistry and presence. Their journey from hopeful newcomers to seasoned performers was shaped right here, under the warm lights of Wala Wala.

Live music finds its way home to Wala Wala Cafe Bar after nearly six years, marking a moment that feels deeply meaningful. A space once defined by shared moments and familiar melodies opens again to the sound of live performance, renewing the spirit that has always made Wala Wala a place where music and people come together naturally.

Leading this new chapter are Jack and Rai, whose performances are grounded in connection, musical intuition and a genuine respect for the songs they bring to life. Their easy chemistry and thoughtful musicianship create an atmosphere that draws listeners in and holds their attention, turning each set into an experience rather than simply a performance.

Jack and Rai will be performing every Wednesday at the new Wala Wala Live. Join us as we welcome live music back to its rightful place, beginning again with familiar faces and songs that linger long after the night ends.

[Local Legends Jack & Rai are back at Timbre! – Live Every Thursday at Timbre+ One North]

Jack & Rai and the band EIC was the very first resident band engaged for Timbre @ The Substation back in 2005 and had an amazing run. Starting Thursday, 3 July, we are excited to have them back on a timbre stage to light up your nights with classics, smooth harmonies, and feel-good vibes — every week.
