Supermama Store Supermama is a Singapore design and lifestyle goods brand. Founded in 2010, we seek to provide museum-like respite to the busyness of urban life.

What started off as a couple's decision to steal time away from work for their young children has evolved into Singapore's go-to source for locally designed homeware and souvenirs. The concept of giving is central in Supermama. We believe that good stories, good design and good crafts make good gifts. From our classic “Made in Arita Japan” blue white porcelain, to contemporary tableware, every piece Supermama produces is made by some of the finest craftsmen in Asia, whilst exhibiting a distinctly Singaporean design sensibility. In 2013, Supermama’s signature cobalt blue and white porcelain collection titled “Singapore Icons” was awarded the President’s Design Award - the foremost design accolade in Singapore.

Every Singaporean carries a dream, big or small, personal or shared. And we feel incredibly lucky to be here, creating and dreaming in this little red dot we call home.

One of our many dreams when we started One Singapore was to see this porcelain plate in every Singaporean home. It is an ambitious dream, but isn’t that what Singapore has always been about? Daring to dream a little bigger, and making the impossible feel possible.

Here’s to the place that gave us a hundred different stories, and so many reasons to keep dreaming! Happy National Day, Singapore. ❤️🤍

A great start to August as we launched a new collection of souvenirs, co-designed with the talented designers and participants of weareSuper. Inspired by the collections and galleries of the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM), this showcase brings together design, museum, and community practice to explore ten different responses to a simple question: What makes a great souvenir?

It takes many pairs of hands to bring an exhibition like this to life and we’re grateful to everyone who made it possible. This August, come by to Souvenirs From A Museum here at the ACM until 30th August.

Something has been quietly in the works over the past few months and it’s finally making its way to Milan.

A collection of 25 porcelain plates, coming together here in Prototype Island for Milan Design Week 2026!

Prototype Island is a showcase presented by the DesignSingapore Council, curated by Hunn Wai and Eian Siew. Open from 21 to 26 April 2026 during Milan Design Week, the showcase unfolds across three themes to holistically examine what it means for a country to treat itself as a living prototype.

With motifs thoughtfully oriented to be viewed and enjoyed from all four sides, this piece is inspired by an iconic beadwork work from the Peranakan Museum.
