First post in 2022. I have been so quiet cos I have been rather absorbed (in a good way) in my daily grind.

Featuring my , peace offering from the hubs after a fight over i-dun-remember-what and lovingly put together by the boys and I.

i love , not jus for their beauty and the connotation of appreciation when they are gifted, also that they remind me that every bloom has its own time. somebody I used to work closely with often tells me that "there is a time for everything." while her foresight are sometimes my hindsight (haha), this though, I have always kept it near my heart. while I tend my garden with great care, I do not compare nor envy others, I am at peace as long as I know that I have done all I can.

8 Jun 2021 | is where we leave the labels others gave us at the door. Shut out the noises and focus on the good. It’s where no matter is too small to be attended to and no issue too big a cannot make better.

Made some to bless.
I didn't manage to make many, so first come, first served. No strings attached, though you may need to trim some frayed strings yourself. These are mum-made quality; the kinda quality I agar agar put together for my kids. So if you need one, and dun mind my agar agar work, dm me your address by tomorrow noon. ❤️

Made these air pocket masks for the kids cos I was having a hard time getting kids-size surgical masks. Tried ordering some from overseas but more than 2 weeks had came and gone, still no sight of my orders. So when asiaone reported on a Taiwanese doc's improvision by slotting non-woven materials into fabric masks, I immediately tried making a few for my kids. These were mostly made during my commute to work and in between lunch breaks and dinner time. It's a pretty simple project, pretty much like making a pillow case, but with 2 pleats on each sides. There are plenty tutorials online but me being me, I am too lazy to measure or print out templates, so here's my agar agar take on it. Swipe right to see how it's done.

31 oct 2017 | made with the eldest tonight. these are thank you gifts for her friends who have wheeled her around when her ankle casted. it must have been more than a decade or 2 since I last made a penweave. couldn't remember who I made them for. ah memories... where have all the time gone? my crazy childhood, my goodness, was some 20 years ago. fast forward to today, I hope this craft which used to be every girls' skill continue to live on. even more so that my kids and many others would have a glimpse of my analog .

29 oct 2017 | we made a for our today. all cos exams' over for Renee and Shanice has done all the worksheets her dad wanted her to do for her last paper tomorrow. also, cos these shoe boxes from and are too good for the bin. we put this together with 2 shoe boxes, origami paper and from . Renee even made a car for the dolls with my package. well, almost a car. we jus need 4 bottle caps to complete it.
