This bespoke wall art features the verse:
“هُوَ اللّٰهُ الَّذِیْ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ”
*He is Allah—there is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him*

A look into the making — from cutting raw teak wood, joining each panel, pasting the calligraphy, manual wood scrolling, hand carving, detailed sanding, to the final finishing and reveal.

Every step is done by hand, with precision and care.

The calligraphy is specially written by .sh.sh , created exclusively for her personal art collection — making this piece truly one of a kind.

Its architectural form — from the structured base to the watchtower above — is carefully translated into a smaller scale, preserving the character and presence of the original.

This piece was inspired by a 100-year-old door in Kuwait—a traditional Gulf entrance with a smaller inset door used for daily access. We reimagined its form in miniature, hand-carved from solid teak wood. Every iron stud, panel, and arch is carefully hand-carved to preserve the soul of the original design. A tribute to Gulf heritage, crafted in the Mahajati way.

استُلهمت هذه القطعة المميزة من باب يبلغ عمره مئة عام من دولة الكويت، وهي بوابة تقليدية قديمة في دول الخليج تحتوي على باب أصغر للاستخدام اليومي. قمنا بإعادة تصوّر شكل الباب كتحفة فنية مصغّرة منحوتة يدوياً من خشب الساج الصلب. كل مسمار حديدي ولوح وقوس منحوت يدوياً بعناية للحفاظ على روح التصميم الأصلي. رمز للإرث الخليجي العريق، منحوت ببراعة على طريقة مهاجاتي المميزة.

Inspired by a century-old Kuwaiti door and the iconic doors of the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina, these miniature table pieces are meticulously hand-carved from solid teak wood. Every panel, stud, and detail is shaped by hand to honor heritage, faith, and craftsmanship—preserved in the Mahajati way.

مستوحيان من بوابة تقليدية في دول الخليج عمرها مئة عام من دولة الكويت، ومن أبواب المسجد النبوي الشريف في المدينة المنورة، تم نحت هذه التحف الفنية المصغّرة كديكور للطاولة يدوياً بدقة متناهية من خشب الساج الصلب. كل لوح ومسمار حديدي وتفصيل منحوت يدوياً لتكون رمزاً للإرث العريق والإيمان والبراعة الحرفية، المحفوظة بطريقة مهاجاتي المميزة.
