Tan Chun Yong

A graphic designer/illustrator who is born and raised in Singapore. Graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with a diploma in Graphic Design, he has vivid memories of playing many games and watching cartoons as a child. He also knew that he had always loved drawing, and while greatly influenced by the liveliness of Eastern and Western media, he started to dream of his own imaginary worlds, drawing being the outlet to express these places. To him, it is a never-ending journey that he now explores to convey in different ways as he practices graphic design. Chun Yong believes that his own works should encompass a small part of himself, an essence to breathe life into his works.

Saraphina Ching

A mixed media artist who works mostly with illustrations, photographs and texts. A graduate from the School of Art, Design and Media, NTU, she majored in Photography and Digital Imaging. She finds inspiration in books, films and music, their influence shaping and developing her creative process. She is also a fervent writer, with her stories often revolving around themes such as memories, dreams, nightmares, childhood and death.

Odelia Tang

An illustrator and graphic designer graduated from Temasek Polytechnic with a Diploma in Visual Communication, she draws from her own inclinations toward the macabre and taboo to make one question themselves and the matters of the psyche & society when confronted by what they perceive. She favors things of high contrasts, often immersing herself in everything from comic books and art films to psychology and literature.

Jonathan Lim

He values simplicity and candour, though he sometimes worries that that might be an indication of his mental capacity. Currently studying Visual Communications at NTU's School of Art, Design and Media, his penchant for illustrating animals stems possibly from early exposure to the best science fiction series ever — Animorphs. He occasionally enjoys seeing new places, and hopes to one day travel the world.

Izzy Tan

A Singapore-based artist and designer who graduated with a Diploma in Visual Communication in 2013. Izzy considers his artworks a personal visual documentation of his feelings, aesthetics and obsessions of different time periods. His works are inspired by the nostalgia and spirit of youth, they are also narratives that aspire to relate his sense of self to the universe, and other times an alternate escape from his otherwise very dull life.

Donna Fonx

An illustrator based in tiny, sunny, and forever changing Singapore. A graduate of LASALLE College, she majored in Image and Communication. Although she spends alot of her time in front of a computer, she is a great believer in traditional and the handmade approach. Her favorite mediums to work with include pen and ink, collage, printmaking and crafts. Her eye for the absurd, often juxtaposing unlikely elements to create humorous and slightly surreal images. Her projects range from prints, hand lettering, murals, comics, stickers and T-shirt design.

Benjamin Tan Zhe Hao

Drawn into the world of cartoons and comics at a young age, it was a phase which he never really grew out of. Ben later pursued an education in Graphic Design at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, which was to him, a perfect middle ground between art and business. After several lacklustre attempts in music, Ben ultimately returned to focus on Character Design and Illustration in late 2012, a path of his childhood passion. It was the one thing he could never really tire of. He enjoys working in digital media and hopes to learn and improve from Transmission 2014 and share his work with a wider audience.
