Smashing things can be fun! However, when you're stationary for too long, it may just become boring to wait for planes to fly to you. We figured that if you are able to traverse the world and wreak havoc on everything you see, then that would be even more awesome! So... What kind movements do monkeys like to do?

We had a giant gorilla, we had a city. But somehow we didn't feel like a real rampaging monster causing mayhem to a real city.

That's because although there were buildings, there were lights and there were sounds, a real city is way more than that.

As game designers we're responsible for designing a believable escape. To let players really feel like there were somewhere else and someone else.

What we learned: When you make a game for players to smash things, you don't stop them from smashing things. We used to make players hang on to buildings while smashing planes, while interesting took away some of the core fun of the game. Check out this post about our game!
