Goh Soon Tioe Centenary Award The award of S10,000 will be given to a string player who has shown a consistent track record of outstanding musicianship and performance.

The Goh Soon Tioe Centenary Award is an endowed Fund administerd by the Community Foundation of Singapore, to commemorate the birth centenary of Goh Soon Tioe (1911-1982), Singapore's pioneer violinist, pedagogue, impresario and conductor The award may be used towards fees at a musical institution locally or abroad, music tuition fees, recital expenses, attendance at music camps or festivals, over

seas orchestra projects, music competitions, purchase of sheet music or instrument, or other purposes deemed suitable by the selection committee. Singapore citizens or Singapore PR between the ages of 15 to 25 may apply. Priority will be given to string players who are Singapore citizens.
