Since the year 2005 glass painting was tried out as a hobby on various items. When it comes to glass painting, we just think of painting on different glass item. Yes, I do conventional glass painting producing variety of products like tea-light holders, coasters, key-chains, f
ridge magnets and our glass beads. I use these glass beads to create my own handmade jewellery. The paints used are non toxic, permanent paints. All items are washable with mild soaps. The paint can withstand cosmetics, sweat very well. To explain the method in brief, articles are painted and dried for at least 24 hrs. After drying, they are heated to high temperature for almost 45mins. This makes the paint permanent and hard. Going beyond, I have developed a technique to create different types of flowers using wire wrapping technique. Then these flowers are hand painted using glass paints. Our flower jewellery is unique. I also make use of these flowers to create different display pieces. Each bead/item Is hand painted individually with care and passion to create our unique pieces . Since they are hand painted, same type of two pieces will not be exactly identical. But the over all effect will be same and harmonious. Lastly, nature is our inspiration...
