So I might have been taking a little break from posting lately because we’re gearing up for a family holiday in June 🧡🍊

But I’ve been looking back on our last pop-up very fondly.

It always amazes me how people interact with us and our mats when we’re on the ground. While I’m there thinking about the booth, the setup, and running a business… there are also so many little moments happening quietly throughout the day just because we chose to show up.

Kids sitting down to colour.
Families spending time together.
Tiny conversations and little doodles left behind on the mats.

And even at the end of every event, when everything gets washed clean again, I still find myself remembering the people we spoke to and coloured with.

Sometimes I think people see DrawnBy: as mats and markers.

But to me, it has always been about creating moments people can share — not just with us, but with their little ones, siblings, grandparents, and the people they love most.

Strong roots. Gentle branches.This drawing is a little different from my usual style, it might seem hectic and a little messy, but hey! That's what motherhood is, right?

But like the willow tree, a mother’s love bends, shelters, and holds steady. In all things, and through all things, and I hope that you can find the beauty in all the imperfection and craziness that is bringing up our little ones :)

We who nurture quietly, love deeply, and sometimes carry more than anyone can see — DrawnBy: sees you.

From one mother to another, our strong foundation roots our families and supports the little ones around us. In all the different seasons of our child's life, may we be the safe place they grow from, together, and be blessed as we raise our children in their every day.

When we’re not at pop-ups, this is what the work often looks like.

Boxes packed, payments checked, deliveries made, and products carried into new spaces.

Each delivery feels special — seeing our designs placed alongside so many wonderful women-led businesses, each built with effort, courage, and their own story behind it.

Small business life isn’t always the visible part.
A lot of it happens quietly — in packing, lifting, driving, and showing up again.

But moments like this remind us that we’re part of something bigger than ourselves.

Grateful for every shelf, every opportunity, and every person who supports women building their dreams 🧡🍊

We’ll be taking a short break 🧡🍊

DrawnBy: will be away from 31 May to 10 June.
A little time to rest, reset, and spend time with family before we jump back into the second half of the year.

If there’s anything you’ve been meaning to grab, now’s a good time to do it before we head off.

Come see the mats, markers, and designs up close, and let the kids enjoy a little colouring time while you browse.

Orders placed during our break will be processed as soon as we return.

I’ll still have internet access and will do my best to update customers who place orders during this period, but do bear with us if replies or deliveries take a little longer while we wind down and take this trip.

During the pop-up, my brain is fixated on what's happening on the ground but he went to our display mat, and coloured. So I whipped out my phone and grabbed these shots.

Stripes, dashes, little dots, random colour choices that somehow came together better than expected.

And honestly, I loved seeing it. This man that comes to help me at the booth, finding a little bit of time to enjoy the work we need to do, in his own way.

We talk so much about colouring for kids, but adults need moments like this too.

Studies have shown colouring can help reduce stress, improve focus, and calm the mind by giving your brain one simple thing to do.

Not just for kids, but for the big ones at heart too.
A moment for no pressure. No performance.
Just a small moment to reset.

Sometimes winding down doesn’t need to be fancy.
Sometimes it’s just colours on a mat and a little peace 🧡🍊

We’ve just wrapped up another pop-up.

And something about the doodles this time… felt a little different.

We met so many familiar faces — customers who’ve supported us from years ago.
But their kids… have grown.

They coloured differently now.
More care. More detail.
Taking their time, even practising their writing and drawing.

Old designs, seen with new eyes.
And finding joy in the new ones too.

And honestly… that’s something I don’t take for granted.

Every one of you has been part of bringing us to where we are today.
And we’re humbled by the love you share with us — when you colour with us, visit us at pop-ups, and bring our designs home 🧡🍊

We're heading out for two pop-ups across April and May and we wanted to let you know EARLY because after this stretch of school, the holidays will be here!

We are excited to head to a new location @ Junction 8 and revisit Thomson Plaza. If there's anything we love, it's meeting all you guys in the flesh and seeing kids sit down, pick a colour, and settle into their own little space. No pressure. No rush. Just creating.

If you’re nearby, come by and have a chat, doodle with us, and bring some art and creativity home.
