Today is the last day of the sketch challenge and I can’t believe I was able to observe and sketch 28 things in my house. When I took the challenge the only thing on my mind was to challenge myself to innovative sketching indoors while having a story to everything I do and well I think I managed well. Tried to avoid many prompts but nonetheless they were very helpful. Happy and sad that this is over.
Tried to sketch this one without lifting my pen from the paper and using any guides. A tough one but enjoyed the process.

One of the best things of quarantine has been to watch my plant grow. I’ve never been a plant mom but this period has turned me into one. I am not very good with understanding plants and in the past most of them died in my supervision. But this one that I got in the beginning of this year has grown one leaf at a time and every morning I’m waiting to see a baby leaf open gently. I know you’s say- it’s a money plant and so easy to maintain but nonetheless it gives me some satisfaction. Anyone know any online store in Singapore where i can buy plants and get it delivered ?

I have this tray of tit-bits of healthy home made goodies to eat while working, which I keep at an accessible distance. I read the book Atomic Habits by that said that your environment influences your habits. I had a habit of eating junk when I was bored or to get distracted from tough work and I ended up eating a lot of biscuits and chocolates. After keeping this tray, I drastically reduced junk food and formed a new habit of eating dry fruits and nuts 🍭🍪-> 🍈🥕

When these beauties arrive! First mango of this season. Since the cargo from India has reduced I never thought I would be able to eat my favourite Alphonso. But I guess things have eased up a bit and some food supplies have started coming to Singapore. I’m so glad mangoes are an essential that is still shipped. Grateful beyond measure!

Have some funny pleasure in using product boxes to organise my cupboard. I use old energy drink cartons to store my surplus food supply, laptop cover box to partition my cupboard and big cartons to line my shelves.
