We are proud to present the ViaRT Award 2025 Art Exhibition, celebrating creativity, sustainability, and the power of young artists in Singapore.
The ViaRT Award is an annual upcycled art competition that encourages students to rethink waste and transform discarded materials into meaningful artworks. This year’s theme “ReFabric the Future” invites primary and secondary school students across Singapore to explore the creative potential of recycled and unwanted fabric.
Why fabric?
Textile waste is one of the fastest-growing environmental challenges worldwide. Through imagination and innovation, these young artists show how materials that might otherwise be thrown away can be reborn as art and design.
This year we received over 140 submissions from more than 200 students, and the exhibition features 43 outstanding winning artworks.
Each piece reflects the creativity of the next generation and reminds us that art can inspire new ways of thinking about sustainability, consumption, and our future.
