The The Buddhist Union - BU will be organizing the Medicine Buddha Dharma Assembly from 28th - 29th September 2024 @ Fairmont Singapore. On the morning of 28th September, Saturday, The SG Buddhist Music Hub is collaborating with The Buddhist Union to produce 'Harmony as One' Concert with Venerable Heng Sure from 8.30am - 10.30am.

The concert offers a unique opportunity to bring music teams and individuals together as one, to present a series of performances that helps to highlight the importance of Harmony in the Present, starting with the Self, the immediate Community, and the Nation.

If you have a passion for performing, or able to sing as a soloist, or play a musical instrument or more, or have a strong motivation to propagate the Buddha dhamma off-stage, we welcome you to collaborate with us for this concert, as we attempt to put up a series of performances for an audience of up to 500 devotees / nominal Buddhists on the event day. Part of our first song, Where It All Began, for Vesak 2023 at KMSPKS. Where It All Began began as a bold idea of Sis Celine, Publication Director of 40th NTUBS who wanted to commemorate NTUBS’ 40th anniversary with an original song. She had reached out to SG Buddhist Music Hub for an unprecedented collaboration. Both Hubbers and NTUBS took up the challenge to work around tight timelines, juggling work and study and that was where it all began, an original composition by Sis Soe, Sis Hwee Mei and Bro Wei Guang with input from Sis Celine, Bro Lai Chuan and Sis Edna Pan. Music arrangement by Bro Kang Kee. Last but not least, a big thank you to Bro Alvin for coordinating with NTUBS to make this a reality.
