Starlit Flowing Light

Inspired by the iconic Louis Vuitton building in Beijing’s Sanlitun district, this painting captures the flowing glass façade glowing softly under the night sky. Warm lights from within the building illuminate the scene, reflecting the vibrant rhythm and elegance of the modern city.

灵感来自北京三里屯标志性的路易威登之家。夜幕之下，流动般的玻璃外立面在灯光中闪耀，温暖的光从建筑内部透出，映照出都市夜晚的活力与现代建筑的优雅。

Under the bright Aegean sky, the windmills of Mykonos turn gently above the sea.
White houses glow in the sunlight, while pink bougainvillea brings the hillside to life.
This is a small corner of Greece filled with light, colour, and quiet joy.

Hong Kong Tramways
Step into the nostalgic charm of Hong Kong through its iconic double-decker trams. Gliding between towering skyscrapers and narrow streets, these historic “ding dings” carry stories of old and new—where tradition meets modern city life.

This piece is created in a watercolor-inspired style, using soft pastels to capture the warmth and atmosphere of the scene and timeless beauty of a city that never stands still.

走进香港的怀旧风情，从标志性的双层电车开始。穿梭在高楼林立与狭窄街道之间，这些历史悠久的“叮叮车”承载着新与旧的故事，在传统与现代城市生活之间交织前行。

这幅作品以水彩风格呈现，运用柔和的粉彩色调，捕捉画面的温度与氛围，以及这座从未停歇城市的永恒之美。

Templates and zoom details will be emailed to all participants for the next series 'Landscapes for a Wandering Mind ' tomorrow.

For our 8 March session, we’ll be painting “Sunlit Peak.” I’ll be providing two template options for you to choose from. The first piece is painted on 30 × 15 cm paper (trimmed from A4), and the second is on 21 × 15 cm paper (standard A5 size). You’re welcome to paint either version during the class.

在新疆辽阔的那拉提草原上，天地在柔和的紫金色中缓缓相融。薄雾如梦，远山静默，一匹骏马低头觅食，仿佛与天地同呼吸。这里没有边界，只有风的方向与心的自由。草浪起伏，时光放慢，在这无垠的原野上，自由不是奔跑，而是一种安然存在的状态。

It's been 2 months since I last painted. I always restart my journey with a simple, tranquil piece. It brings back a sense of calm and contentment and, most importantly, the motivation to move forward and embrace bigger challenges.

Our next Travel series will begin next year — apologies for the wait, and I truly hope you’ll join me in 2026.
In the meantime, if you come across any destination photos you’d love to paint, feel free to send them my way. I’ll do my best to incorporate them into the 2026 series.

After my first trip to Jiuzhaigou and Bipenggou in November, I was completely awed by the breathtaking scenery. This coming January, I’ll be returning to Jiuzhaigou to experience its winter fairyland, and I hope the journey will spark even more inspiration for our future sessions.
