Two Saturdays in a row at Alkaff Mansion. ❤️
Two couples, two unique love stories, yet both equally beautiful in their own way.

Returning to the same venue on consecutive weekends felt familiar, but what touched me most was something a banquet staff member said:
“When it's you, we feel safe.”

My reply was simple:
“The feeling is the same.”
Because a successful wedding is never the work of one person. It takes the couple, their families, the venue team, planners, photographers, and every behind-the-scenes partner working together.

Last week was filled with heartfelt elegance. This week was all about joyful celebration.

Different vibes, different stories, but the same happiness shining through every smile and every moment shared.

非常榮幸受邀主持琉璃工房 LIULI ART 的藝術展覽，並近距離與金馬獎及亞太影后、琉璃工房創辦人、琉璃藝術家—— 楊惠姍老師交流。✨

楊老師分享了今年以「馬」為主題的創作《風之馬》、《火之馬》、《山之馬》與《氣之馬》。為了完美呈現「風火山氣」的精神與意境，凝聚了琉璃工房三十九年來，在琉璃藝術創作與脫蠟鑄造工藝上的深厚累積與極致追求。

活動後，楊老師也親切地為收藏家們簽名留念。更讓我感動的是，她特別告訴我，因為要讓我主持的更順暢，還特地在活動前半段以英文與大家交流，真的十分暖心。❤️

Deeply honoured to host ’s art exhibition and to meet an extraordinary guest — , Golden Horse and Asia-Pacific Best Actress, co-founder of LIULI Crystal Art, and a pioneering glass artist.

Ms Yang shared the inspiration behind this year’s horse-themed masterpieces: “Horse of Wind”, “Horse of Fire”, “Horse of Mountain”, and “Horse of Air”. The collection beautifully reflects nearly four decades of artistic excellence and technical mastery in crystal art and pâte de verre craftsmanship.

She also took time to personally sign for collectors after the session. What touched me most was learning that she specially chose to converse in English during the first half of the event because she knew it would be easier for me! Truly thoughtful and inspiring. ✨

In Singapore, being “bilingual” isn’t just about translating words. It’s about making sure everyone feels included in the same moment. Some parents and grandparents are more comfortable in Mandarin, while most of our generation leans toward English. When it’s only one language, the vibe can feel a little split.

I see the role of a wedding emcee as something like a bridge.
Not about talking non-stop, but knowing when to switch, what to say, and how to carry the energy across the room.

Sometimes it’s a light English line that gets your friends laughing.
Sometimes it’s a warm Mandarin phrase that makes the elders feel right at home.

If you’ve ever been at a wedding where everything just flowed naturally, you’ll know that feeling.

Had a great time the Infotech CNY 2026 Celebration 🧧

Each department put up their own items, from dance performances to comedy acts, and a special tribute that got everyone cheering 🎤

Also honoured to host the Service Awards, recognising staff with 3 to 30 years of service. Thank you for the trust and for such a warm, lively night! 🎉
