A day trip to Kamakura felt almost mythical—something we had long hoped to do, especially to bring Jude to experience the seaside and, if we were fortunate, catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji.
Unfortunately, the mountain remained hidden from view. The day itself was cold and overcast, adding a quiet, subdued atmosphere to the experience.
