Happy Father’s Day to the man who has loved and supported me through it all—even when that meant patiently ignoring a messy house and making himself scarce while I hosted my workshops at home! ❤️

It’s been many, many years since I last made a bag for my husband. His old one was full of endless pockets, and he’d constantly get lost digging through them just to find his things. But as we’ve started traveling more, he realized he wanted something simpler—a bag just for the absolute essentials.

So, I crafted this lightweight leather banana bag using a kit from my regular seller. Of course, true to form, he still asked for pockets! 😅 I ended up adding two custom internal pockets that weren't part of the original design.

After 10 days of careful hand-stitching and edge-painting, it was finally ready. Seeing him put it on and use it right away made all the hard work worth it. If he's happy, I'm happy. Happy Father's Day! 🥰

The story of a bag that loves to travel! 🌍✈️

Late in 2024, my friend M sent me an Instagram link (https://www.instagram.com/reel/C8CQgRVNR3e/?igsh=cXk0N251cm5iOTg0), asking if I could replicate a bag she saw. I took on the challenge, made it for her, and it instantly became her ultimate travel companion. Fast forward to earlier this year: M asked for a slightly bigger version for her upcoming travels and brought me her own fabrics—a sleek, water-repellent black polyester and a vibrant, traditional Japanese print cotton for the lining.
While she wanted the exterior to be classic black, I couldn't resist adding a little twist. Instead of standard black straps, I went with a pop of bright yellow cotton webbing! 💛

I managed to finish it just before heading off on my own family trip, knowing she’d be jetting off soon too. Here’s hoping that cheerful yellow sunshine chases away any holiday fatigue or travel stress for her! ☀️🎒

Walking in faith is always sweeter with a faithful leader. For the past year, BH has guided 15 of us through our weekly studies, listening to our struggles and lifting us up in daily prayer. Her wisdom and encouragement have been such a profound blessing to my own journey! 🙏✨

As our study for the year comes to a close, I presented her with this specially crafted tote bag on behalf of our entire group to show our deepest appreciation.
My "intel" told me she loves flowers and Peanuts characters, so I knew this beautiful fabric—blessed to me by a kind lady—was meant for this exact moment. A wide tote bag felt like the perfect canvas to showcase the print, while remaining roomy enough for BH to carry all her notes and study aids.

I thank God for the opportunity to create this gift, though it barely compares to how much she has blessed us. May her ministry continue to multiply and be incredibly fruitful! 💛📖
