Mr Shin Yong Gu, Associate Artist (Performance Art) of “12 Seasons”, is a pioneering Korean image performance artist who has been active since 1991, combining video, installation and performance in his multidisciplinary practice.

His works explore life within the cycle of nature and humanity, reflecting on the meaning of life through installations and visual performances. Over the years, he has presented diverse works including “Circulation”, “Dream, For a New Myth”, “Carrying the Wind”, “Thread in the Labyrinth”, “Variations on a String” and “Gathering Fragments of Dreams”.

Mr Shin continues to communicate with audiences through exhibitions and performances in 34 countries worldwide, including the UK, France, Italy and Germany. He has also performed twice in Singapore under DanzINC Festival 2016, strengthening his artistic connection with Singapore’s contemporary arts scene.

Ms Phan Thi Thuc Linh, Associate Artist (Dance) of “12 Seasons”, is a veteran Vietnamese dance educator, artistic producer and former military dance leader with more than two decades of experience in performance, education and arts leadership.

She began her professional dance journey at the Military University of Culture and Arts in 1993 and spent 20 years as a dancer with the Military Art Troupe of Military Zone 5, including five years as the troupe’s dance leader. Expanding her expertise beyond performance, she also served in production management and artistic direction for the acclaimed “Hoi An Memories” show.

Currently, Ms Phan is a lecturer in Contemporary Dance and Performance Practice at Da Nang College of Culture and Arts. She also serves as Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang Dance Artists’ Association and Chairwoman of its Art Council, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of dance in Vietnam.

Ms Phan shares a longstanding relationship with Singapore’s dance community through her collaborations with Xposition “O” Contemporary Dance Fiesta in Da Nang, strengthening artistic exchange and regional partnerships across Southeast Asia.

Ms Lin Ya Wen, Associate Artist (Dance) of “12 Seasons”, is the founder of Chakra Dance for the global Chinese community and a pioneer of somatic dynamic awareness training since 2007.

A former dancer with Taiwan’s Cloud Gate Dance Theatre from 1996 to 2007, she holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Taipei National University of the Arts and a Master’s degree in Choreography from Middlesex University London. Integrating professional dance training with mind body spirit practices, she has developed a distinctive somatic awareness programme through advanced studies across India, South America, Europe and the United States.

With more than 20 years of teaching experience, Ms Lin has led over 1,000 group sessions and individual cases, nurturing professionals in dance, wellness and healing practices. Her work bridges art and healing, bringing depth, sensitivity and embodied wisdom to “12 Seasons”.

Mr Park Ho Bin, Associate Artist (Dance) of “12 Seasons”, is an acclaimed South Korean choreographer, Artistic Director of Dance Theatre CcadoO and founder of Zero Point Motion. With a distinguished career spanning more than three decades, he has made significant contributions to contemporary dance while preserving and advancing Korea’s traditional performing arts.

Mr Park holds an Executive MBA in International Design Business Management from Aalto University and aSSIST University, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from the Seoul Institute of the Arts. A recognised holder of South Korea’s Intangible Cultural Heritage No. 17, Bongsan Talchum (Mask Dance Drama), he continues to bridge tradition and innovation through his artistic practice.

His critically acclaimed works have received major national accolades, including the Dance Critic Award for Best Work in 2023 for Suddenly, presented by the Korea Dance Critics Association, and the 22nd Dance Arts Award for Best Work in 2015 for Cat Concerto in C Major for Copenhagen Interpretation, presented by MOM Dance Magazine.

Mr Park shares a longstanding relationship with Singapore’s dance community. He presented his work Thinking Bird at Xtraordinary Solo in 2002 and led Dance Theatre CcadoO to participate in Xposition “O” Contemporary Dance Fiesta in 2003.
