Armstrong’s Recommendation.

Le Shirmp Ramen at Parragon

If you are into Ramen, then this is a must have.
Sides: Tofu Century Egg.
Main: Ebi Prawn Ramen, or the Prawn Dumpling Ramen.
Decide on your noodles, I had the Kway Teow.
The Prawn Broth is absolutely fantastic, a surprise for a change, cause you don’t get a rich & delicious taste nowadays, I sure you know why.
Good food & affordable Lunch or Dinner, you decide. Cause at d end of it all, you know you had a good & delicious meal.

Curry Debal:
Known to most as Curry Devil, because its really a spicy dish.
A Eurasian dish, you can see it on the dinner table on spacial dinner occasions.
Takes 3-5 hours to cook,
Because of the preparations.

This is my moms recipe, she calls it the rich Debal, because of the ingredients. Roasted Pork, Smoked Ham Hook, Bacon Bones, Roasted Chicken, Cocktail Sausages & all d spices, & the chillies!!!
I guess you can choose to make it less spicy hot, but………. 🤣 it’s Devil you know!

Sotong Lontong at its best, gravy is not to thin & not to thick, you can simply just drink the gravy slowly & taste the true spices. Here’s the icing on the cake, the Sotong is soft & braised to perfection, Plus the sambal together with the Tauhu, rice cake & the serongdeng is simply lemak & shiokadoos!!!, The coffee shop is Afghanistan, located at Tampines St 21 near the CC.

Armstrong’s Rigatoni Beef Pasta.

Main ingredients: half a kg beef chuck cut to cubs.
One packet Rigatoni Pasta.

Ingredients for sauce:
2 cups Beef stock
2 cups tomato Sauce.
2 cups good Red Wine.
2 tablespoons molasses.
Salt for taste.
Freshly grated black pepper.
5 dried Bay leaves.
6 fresh brown button mushrooms.
6 fresh white button mushrooms.
All mushrooms cut to thin slices.
2 heads garlic, peel skin & cut thinly.
15 fresh cherry tomatoes.
One packet of bacon bits.

Now heat frying pan with light olive oil & butter, then add garlic, bacon bits freshly grated black pepper & mushrooms. Stir fry till golden brown.

Next add all ingredients to your slow cooker, & slow cook for 6-7 hours at low.

When cooking pasta add olive oil & a pinch of salt in water.
When serving sprinkle parsley bits & grated parmesan cheese。
