Launched earlier this year as a professional development program for chamber musicians in Singapore to almost 150 listeners and participants, our Chamber Music Residency is returning with its second edition from 8 - 21 June 2026 at Objectifs - Centre for Photography and Film in tandem with The Art of Chamber Music ~ an Exhibition by CMAS and our Opening Night Fundraiser !

Led by our international Artists-in-Residence, prolific Scottish pianist and artistic director of the chamber music festival at Musikdorf Ernen in Switzerland , solo British cellist, cultural entrepreneur and Artistic Director of North York Moors Chamber Music Festival , this intensive Chamber Music Residency offers the highest level of learning and developmental opportunities for our Homegrown Series musicians and Young Musicians to build towards a performing career as international level classical chamber musicians.

Our Homegrown Series and Young Musicians will be working alongside and mentoring with our Artists-in-Residence on cornerstone pieces of the classical chamber music repertoire culminating in Evening Concerts, an interactive Concert for Children and Sharing Recitals.

We are also bringing back our popular ✨ Quiet Sessions ✨on selected weekdays for you to mindfully reset in this mid-year, whilst soaking in classical chamber music

Widely considered to be among the greatest musical compositions of all time, 𝟏𝟖𝟐𝟔 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 revisits the masterpieces of Beethoven’s late string quartets through a triptych of Evening Concerts and an interactive Concert for Children on 6 June at , presenting and our Homegrown Series musicians.

Brahms’ Piano Trio No. 3 in c minor Op. 101 emerged in the summer of 1886, during an intense period of creativity that saw him, at the peak of his powers, produce a succession of works including a cello sonata and two violin sonatas. This second movement is a hushed scherzo that is nearly seamless with its delicate, uncomplicated intermezzo, without pronounced sectional contrasts.

Watch our Homegrown Series musicians navigate this work’s ‘profuse melodic invention’ - honing her craft and intensively working through this trio’s technical demands with our Artists-in-Residence to culminate at our Residency’s Evening Concert I on 24 Jan 2026, Sat, 7.30pm.
