New single ’Always on the move’ out 15 March!
There’s an undisputable sincerity in the wistful yet energizing indie rock of Heather Mirage. A call for true communication if you will. After years of experimenting in his home studio the former thrash metal drummer Pontus Ljung, the band’s singer-songwriter and producer, finally found the perfect platform to translate his visions to the public. With one foot firmly rooted in the atmospheric rock of bands like The War On Drugs and the other in the patient, disciplined rhythmics of kraut, Heather Mirage manages to build a musical universe that is both comforting and full of surprises – all at the same time. These days, Heather Mirage is a band that consists of Pontus Ljung, Jonas Bergsten, Jens Andersson, Hans-Erik Sjöström, and Oskar Johansson. Their new and captivating single is out 15 March (this Friday) and is the first sample from their upcoming EP.
