Slow moving fast summer 🍼bottles & breasts, sleepless nights, diapers & disinfectant, birdsinging & baby crying.
- could never have come through this in one piece without Jonas and joint effort by both our families.
When the twins turn 1, instead of baking them a cake they can’t eat, I’d like to write a personal speech to each person who have helped us through this first year being parents to premature twins.
Maybe I’ll write some songs about it, although I don’t know if I’ll ever find the words to describe how it was. The hospital, the tubes & machines, the sound that heartrate monitors make, or how not to get cables wet when I bathed my babies for the first time. The nurses, and their warm voices and cold hands. We learned so much.
Don’t think a speech is thank you enough, so I’ll probably bake some cakes also..

Caramma makes these bottles, they’re awesome. I did a lot of mixed feeding with my twins, and they really helped with that, so they deserve a mention.

1 year since pitchfork Paris, miss touring with my music pals. 3 months pregnant here, and 4 days later we found out we were having twins. When you have no other updates other than babies starting solid foods.. you need to scroll back and remember what your life used to look like before you became a parent, the woman I was then (and still am I think). I miss the stage, and composing, and everything else, and I’m very curious about how my life will look like when I return to my work as a fulltime musician. Very curious, and worried, and excited, and scared, and pumped. It can never be the same, it will be different.
I return after new year to make my third album, no idea where to start, reminding myself - the only rule is make.
