Experience the complete magic of our latest performance, where music, dance, and poetry seamlessly collide... Sampurna Chakraborty channels the voice of a nightingale, gracefully gliding from classical melodies to soulful ghazals and old Hindi hits. Sulagna Dasgupta matches that vocal excellence with her mesmerizing dance, painting vivid stories that come alive right before your eyes. Urmimala Banerjee Kumar weaves the entire act together, bridging the gap between the dance, the Hindi songs, and soul-stirring Bangla poetry. Ripan Kumar Dhar with his flute blends the magic...It’s a longer video, but some stories need to be experienced in full to truly feel their spellbinding power.

Some people don’t just participate in a show; they elevate it with their very presence. At Kobitai Adda — Ink and Voice, we were incredibly lucky to be joined by two such individuals: Dipasree Ghosal and Debleena Dey. Bringing sheer beauty, grace, and elegance to the occasion, they were the ultimate pillars of support for us behind the scenes and on stage, helping out with every single aspect of the event. But the real magic happened when they stepped up to share the stage with poetry for the very first time. To say they "nailed it" would be an understatement! They performed with confidence, capturing everyone's hearts and adding a whole new layer of depth to the evening.

Usually content staying in his own quiet, creative bubble and avoiding the crowd, Debraj Kumar stepped beautifully out of his comfort zone to grace our stage with a rare live performance. He delivered a soulful rendition of both Bangla and Hindi songs, perfectly aligning his vocals to match the timeless depth of Rabindranath Tagore's poetry.

When Somnath da takes the mic, time stands still. With a unique, captivating voice that instantly commands the room, he has a rare gift for storytelling through music. For us, old classic songs, Somnath da, and beautiful nostalgia go hand in hand. If Kobitai Adda has a driving force, it is undoubtedly Somani Roy di. She is a true pillar of everything we do— brimming with boundless energy and an infectious enthusiasm that breathes life into the show. She is the ultimate "yes" person who welcomes every single creative initiative with open arms. From soul-stirring recitations to beautiful singing, she graced the stage effortlessly. And as if that wasn't enough, she nourished both our souls and our appetites—yes, those delicious, crowd-favorite samosas came straight from her kitchen.

Every great show needs a heartbeat, and for Kobitai Adda — Ink and Voice, Somdatta Sarkar is exactly that. With her signature husky voice that instantly commands attention and warms the room, Somdatta brings a unique magic to our adda. Wrapping her warmth around multiple languages, she effortlessly makes listeners from all walks of life feel right at home. The way she seamlessly connects the dots between different presentations, weaving individual segments into one cohesive, beautiful story, is nothing short of noteworthy. "Poetry is the bridge that connects the quietest thoughts to the loudest corners of the world."

In our special segment of Kobitai Adda — Ink & Voice, we celebrate those who weave magic not just with performance, but with the raw power of their own pen. Today, we are thrilled to feature Rajdeep Banerjee , a brilliant mind who writes his thoughts into soul-stirring poetry. Using the power of digital media, we’ve managed to connect the dots from the cultural heart of Bengal/Bangalore all the way to the scenic landscapes of Stockholm. Watch and listen as Rajdeep steps up to recite his own self-written poetry, bringing his words to life for all of us. #

Souvikda didn’t just recite the words at Kobitai Adda; he breathed life into the very soul of the highlands. With a perfect grasp of the poem's melancholy cadence, he turned a schoolyard memory into a living, breathing masterpiece that held us all in a spell of pure nostalgia.

The journey of Kobitai Adda reached a whimsical high as Indranil Sinha -da took center stage, breathing life into Sukumar Ray’s timeless classic, "Satpatro".There is a rare magic in nonsense poetry( not sure if you can call it so as it makes all sense in the
world), it requires a certain gravity to make the absurd feel profound. Indranil-da’s rendition did exactly that—navigating the eccentric rhythms and playful vocabulary that Ray is celebrated for. For a few minutes, the room was transported to a world where the illogical felt like the only truth worth knowing.
