Last weekend for the beautiful exhibition by Announcing Josefin Lindskog as our next HAS exhibition. Opening 13th of May. The drawings and the sculptural objects together provide an insight into the artist’s ongoing process.

Josefin Lindskog (b. 1980) is based in Stockholm. She has previously exhibited at venues including Röda Sten Konsthall in Gothenburg, Teckningsmuseet, the art halls of HÀrnösand and Katrineholm, and LÀnsmuseet GÀvleborg.

She graduated from Konstfack and Stockholms KonstnÀrliga Högskola, and also works as a scenographer and art educator. #

selected each work for HAS with precision. The exhibition reflects the towers’ brutalism against the quiet softness of the interior.
FLUT (excerpt shown here) stands apart. The only work that is loud, abrasive, and deliberately irritating. It was experienced only by those present on opening night.
If you just call it “conceptual,” you miss what actually makes this work felt rather than just understood.

The piece “FLUT” (German for flood) visualizes a flood of information and stimuli, not water, but digital overload.

* The work shows a device/interface where app icons accumulate endlessly increasing red notification numbers
* That visual language is instantly recognizable: unread messages, alerts, demands for attention

I think I like it when it rains. Inside this hard brutalist building it's warm and soft today. Amazing day to slow down and enjoy the art world from within. Pfeifer und Kreutzer is open every day 10-16 until Sunday đŸ€—đŸ™ïžđŸŒ§ïžâ˜‚ïž
