The 2nd online Project Meeting of the Art as Climate Change Activism tooked placed today . Due to administratifs issues, the 1st training in Romania was postponed ; the new date agreed by the four partner is from 20 to 24 of November, 2024.

A famous Latin quote says that : "Quot linguas calles, tot homines vales" - "As many languages as you speak, so many individuals are you worth," which literally means that learning languages multiplies you as a human being, because a different language is a different representation of the world around you!

We are celebrating this week-end in the European Language Days, therefor we prepared a message for our partners in the Art as Climate Change Activism project:

The second day of the 1st project Meeting, August the 18th, was dedicated to the topics as: project communication, implementation, dissemination, monitoring, evaluation, quality & sustainability plan; responsible, methods and deadlines.

The four partners : • Forum För Integration ( Sweden ) • RomBel - Români în Belgia ( Belgium ) • Asociatia pentru Dialog Intercultural ( Romania ) and • Tokat Ekonomik Kalkınma ve Meslek Edindirme Derneği ( Turkey ) continued on the topic of the budget and accounting, with an overview of budget rules and control measures; and risk analysis.

We summarized the discussions held during the two days and have concluded the summary of decisions and the next steps to take.

The meeting ended with the awarding of certificates of participation. The certificates of participation will be handed electronically to all participants, after being signed by the president of the leader association - Forum För Integration.

Our joint 1st PROJECT MEETING " Art as Climate Change Activism" tooked place online, the 17th and 18th of August 2024 , daily from 09:00 to 17:00

During these two days, the four partners : • Forum För Integration Sweden • RomBel - Români în Belgia Belgium • Asociatia pentru Dialog Intercultural Romania and • Ekonomik Kalkınma ve Meslek Edindirme Derneği Turkey discussed the established agenda.

On the first day, on August the 17th, an overview of meeting objectives were presented on the first day of the meeting, after the introductions of the participants and information about the time schedule.

Amid the submitted topics, we discussed the project details
- management and implementation
- tasks and responsibilities for each partner
- contributions and innovation elements
- expected result of the project
- logistic aspects (dates, location, administrative arrangements, etc)
- workshops (content, period, number of participants)
- structure and main categories and subcategories of the platform Art as Climate Change Activism

annonce le démarrage du projet : "Art as climate change activisme" , sur une durée deux ans, à côté de ses partenaires:

• TEKMED, Turquie
• ADI, Roumanie

Le partenariat est centré sur l’art comme moyen d’amplifier la sensibilisation aux problèmes environnementaux et au changement climatique.

La dernière décennie nous a invité de plus en plus à nous tourner vers les questions sociales et écologiques liées à la crise climatique, notamment les changements météorologiques, l’accès à la nourriture, la fonte des glaciers et la déforestation. Les conclusions tirées ont une charge émotionnelle difficile à ignorer – documentant une réalité urgente et une action inspirante : Inspirer l’action environnementale et climatique à travers l’art !

🇪🇺 meeting ｜ Our joint Project Art as Climate Change Activism (2024 -2026) aims:
✅ to enhance the acquisition of new competences in the field of in order to empower and educate young people, cultivating their critical thinking and activism regarding climate change ;
✅ to cultivate a generation of environmentally conscious youth equipped with the knowledge, skills and motivation to effectively tackle climate change, fostering a culture of collaboration inclusivity and active engagement ;
✅ to foster widespread awareness and engagement in addressing complex societal and environmental challenges by harnessing the power of creativity through the platform Art as Climate Change Activism & Eco Art Exhibition

ℹ️ The partnership centers on art as a means to amplify awareness of environmental issues and climate change.

The conclusions drawn have an emotional charge that is difficult to ignore – documenting an urgent reality and inspiring action: Inspiring environmental and climate action through art!
