Nick Hanzo

Hanzo crafts a rich auditory tapestry as DJ, producer and live artist.

By blending multidimensional influences from Trippy Disco, Slow Techno, oldschool Leftfield and percussive IDM, Nick creates genre-defying music that captivates and inspires. Based in Vienna/Austria Nick Hanzo is a good example for the sizzling vibes that spread from beyond the alps. As an artist with multi cultural background Hanzo looks at the world with open eyes and ears. His approach to music resembles in his label work for BELLY DANCE SERVICES, where he has co-released numerous artists from across the globe. Moreover as part of the duo Hanzo & Yaman he has left his marks on certain regions of the music world.

Out today! Reykjavík-born, Vienna-based Moff & Tarkin – prolific producer of highly inventive house music – debuts on Studio Barnhus ⭐ Undeniable grooves, dynamic arrangements and some very resourceful sample flipping indeed can be found aplenty across the four tracks on Mango Boy. The producer, real name Magnus Felix Tryggvason, commented:

“I don’t have so much to say for the promotional text, would be nice if it doesn’t say too much about me being Icelandic and volcanoes and stuff :D

I started reading Alfons Åberg to my son recently. I’ve always been fascinated by Alfons’s dad, a single father doing his best to raise a kid. Apparently he is only 36 in the books, looks a lot older imo. I’m turning 36 in 2024, not that the text has to mention that but it is interesting.”
