Vulkán Independent publishing, zines, comics, prints, books and other creations Vulkan. Our own home-base in Budapest is coming soon.

It’s what you get when you cross a gallery, a publisher, an obsession with illustrations that push the envelope, and a group of grown-ups who are kinda weirdly into comics. We are really really into comics and dedicate way too much time to sourcing the most trail-blazing, stand-out, jaw-droppingly cool illustrators and zine makers from Central–and–Eastern Europe and the South Balkan area. You can find us at the better local and international comic, zine and publishing festivals, at our exhibition openings and at workshops.
