Testing putting glaze material in slips.

This is 20% of a transparent glaze mixed in with the slips and it gives a very matt texture that I like.

And I love the feeling of painting it on the bisque fired clay. Very addictive.

Let's try some more colours.

When I did my assessment, for autism & ADHD, one of the questions the psychologist asked me was if I collected anything.

I answered 'no not really'. She then said 'what about stones?' to which I replied 'well yes, of course and then told her how, when we moved from Scotland to Sweden, I had to take' some' stones back to the beach and how upsetting this was.

I genuinely thought that collecting stones and pebbles was something everyone did.

Turns out most people don't collect stones and that I DO collect things. Like a magpie.

The thing is, even now, it doesn't feel like I'm collecting them. Each individual piece is like a beautiful little treasure and it wants to come home with me. I have to pick them up.

Seeing some of them laid out, like in the pictures, I have to admit that it does look like a collection 🙈.

I'm currently trying to stop myself from collecting match boxes but I seem to have three of them now somehow. Is three a collection? 😅
