📱 HONESTY AT ITS BEST: A HEARTWARMING STORY FROM NATPAN 2026! ❤️🇸🇧

Amidst all the incredible music and dance of the festival, we have an inspiring story to share that reminds us of the beautiful, honest spirit of our people here in the Hapi Isles!

🌟During the busy final day of the festival yesterday, one of our performing panpipers lost his mobile phone while rushing to get ready for their grand finale performance. The worried participant immediately reported the loss to the Festival Organizing Committee..

Luckily, an honest and kind-hearted young man found the phone! When a committee member dialed the lost number, he immediately answered the call and politely promised to return it safely the following morning.

True to his word, this morning the young man—affectionately known by his nickname, Duka—came directly to the Culture Office to hand the mobile phone back to its incredibly relieved owner!

🙏 Thank You, Duka

!We want to extend our deepest, most sincere gratitude to Duka for his integrity, honesty, and positive attitude. He is a shining example of the true values of our community, showing us all what it means to look out for one another.

Here is a photo captured this morning at the Culture Office as Duka (left) safely returned the phone to the grateful panpiper.

Let’s all flood the comments with some love and appreciation for Duka! 👏👏👇

📢 IMPORTANT FESTIVAL NOTICE: SCHEDULE CHANGES DUE TO WEATHER 📢

Due to the heavy rainfall today, safety precautions required us to cancel this afternoon's stage line-up, leaving eight of our incredible groups unable to perform. 🌧️❌

To ensure every groups gets their well-deserved time on stage, the Festival Organizing Committee has made major adjustments to the master schedule for the next three days:

⏰ Earlier Start Time Tomorrow!

Live stage performances will now start at 10:00 AM tomorrow (Friday)—two hours earlier than previously scheduled!

🔄 Rescheduled Groups Slotting In:

The eight groups affected by today's rain have been fully integrated into the performance lineups for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As per this performance program, these rescheduled slots are highlighted in green under each day's column.

🎨 What remains unchanged:

The National Panpipe Symposium: Will proceed exactly as planned tomorrow morning from 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon in Exhibition Room 2.

The Artisan & Craft Markets: Will be open all day.

We thank you all for your incredible patience, resilience, and flexibility as we navigate the weather. Please check this amended performance program to see the exact time slots for your favorite participating groups.

Let’s come out in numbers tomorrow to support our cultural guardians! 🎋🇸🇧
