Lebanese artist JAD FADEL, born in 1989, El Kaa, currently working as an art director at bold Advertising Agency, is a painter and a seeker whose work is often described as “the essence of shapes” as it captures not only the feelings of his models, but also their empathy. n a way that gave him a sense of responsibility and a strange feeling of freedom. Jad was looking for answers, he had unpredictable conversations in search for insight and inspiration, which shows through his vibrant unapologetic personality that is as vibrant and unapologetic as his work. He often frames his paintings with layers of paint incorporating rhythm and repetition of geometric shapes inspired by the indigenous traditional art, and uses vibrant saturated colors that vividly express the passion behind each painting. He applies and mixes his paint directly on the canvas, with the focus on primary colors, to create instinctive shapes and textures that immediately shock the visual nerves of his audience.
