Surah Al-Fil
The idea that unlocked this Surah for me began with Saad Jamal (you can find him on TikTok, where he teaches Quran). He pointed out two major clues: the resemblance in punishment and the same-sex pairing nature of elephants.

That spark led me to dive deep into Quranic parables and after understanding the elephant, many other parables began to open up.
I spent a few months reflecting on these verses, again and again.

It feels like the right direction in understanding Surah Al-Fil and there’s more to it that clearly stamps this Surah is referring to the People of Lut. We’ll explore that deeper connection, including the categories of wrongdoers and the seven gates of hell later, as we build from here.

Between two seas—one salty at my feet, one sweet above in the sky. YESS! that endless blue above is truly a sea of water and we live beneath it.

The Quran says:
“And it is He who has released the two seas—one fresh and sweet, and one salty and bitter—and He placed between them a barrier and a prohibiting partition.”
(Surah Al-Furqan, 25:53)
A reminder that His creation surrounds us—clearly seen, felt and full of meaning.

P.S. I believe in the concept of a flat Earth and the seven heavens(skies) above us, as described in the Quran, where the first heaven is visible to our eyes, as also mentioned in the Quran.
