Мы уже затрагивали тему мужского платка-паше в гардеробе, говорили об уникальности и том, как этот аксессуар подчеркивает классический стиль.

Если немного углубиться в историю, то мы увидим, что платок-паше появился сравнительно недавно, пару веков назад, и изначально использовался в гигиенических целях. Но, так как платок шили из тонкой, дорогой ткани, то очень быстро аксессуар превратился в признак высокого статуса и хорошего вкуса владельца.

Особая популярность настигла платки-паше в середине XX века, когда звёзды Голливуда — такие как Гэри Купер и Кэри Грант — использовали их в своих костюмах. Более того, белый платок-паше стал визитной карточкой Фрэнка Синатры.

В 2022 году платок-паше в мужском гардеробе всё также остается безусловным способом подчеркнуть свою индивидуальность и придать утонченности классическому костюму.

If we go a little deeper into history, we will see that pocket squares appeared relatively recently, a couple of centuries ago, and they were originally used for hygienic purposes. But, since a pocket square was sewn from a thin, expensive fabric, the accessory quickly turned into a sign of high status and good manners of the owner.

Pocket squares became highly popular in the middle of the 20th century, when Hollywood stars began adding them to their outfit.

В 19 лет Валерия переехала из небольшого сибирского города в Санкт-Петербург, где после обучения у признанных мастеров, стала выдающейся выпускницей Академии Художеств.

В работах Валерии городской пейзаж не уступает портрету в наполненности энергией жизни. Она предпочитает работать с натуры и не расстаётся с этюдником даже на каникулах, используя каждую возможность подметить и запечатлеть детали и красоту всего, что видит. Автор нашла свой творческий почерк в сочетании традиционных стилей и тенденций современности, поэтому в работах находят отражение классицизм, импрессионизм и минимализм.

Privalikhina was 19, when she moved from a little Siberian town to St. Petersburg, the cultural center of Russia. After 10 years of being taught by various eminent masters, she graduated from the The Repin Art Institute with distinction.

Artist’s paintbrush imbues both landscapes and portraits with signature life force. The artist prefers to paint from life, never, even during the holiday season, parting with her painter's case. She profits from every opportunity to notice and depict the particulars and beauty of everything caught by her eager eye. The creatress has discovered her idiom in combination of traditional styles and contemporary trends, merging classicism, impressionism and minimalism together.

The Puff Fold

The Puff Fold is one of the most recognizable and elegant ways to fold a pocket square into the breast pocket of your jacket. In our opinion, the way how this method is translated into Russian does not reflect its beauty.

We learnt about this interesting folding method from Savas Ozcelik at Pitti Uomo’92 in Florence.

In each box under an insert with an item you will find an envelope and a small book. The envelope contains a catalogue with a description of the entire collection which includes this pocket square, too, as well as reproductions of all the paintings of the collection in the order set by the artist, and fragments of the individual edge design for each items.

The book includes a description of the Maestri d'Arte brand concept, its production principles, comprehensive analysis of the square details and the story how we came up with this idea.
