Since the age of ten years old Candy Cubana (Q-bon-na) aka Ashley Hall has written her own poems, lyrics, melodies and rap verses as a child. Her mother knew as a baby She would be an Entertainer. Having the chance to open a show for the legendary group "The Delfonics" at age 17, singing Minnie Ripperton, hitting triple high C octaves and getting a standing ovation at the 'Hollywood Park Casino' i

n Inglewood, California as well as the 'Celebrity Center' and 'Key Club' In Hollywood at age 19! Candy always knew she wanted to Entertain & fullfill her passion as a songwriter/artist. She has also recorded her own songs in her independent studio, learning how to engineer her own sound, writing lyrics & recording herself! Having the chance to work with members from snoop dogg's dgp camp in las vegas, song called "GO", check her progression where you can hear her becoming a professional successful artist from starting from the bottom. Candy dwells herself in her studio, while writing songs for various genres, sharpening her variety of creativity for her own projects. Comparisons of styles in writing and her inspirations may be an Isley brothers, Lauryn Hill, Aaliyah, Beyonce, Eve, even a lady 2pac! A Da Brat-Suga free Kind of feel but yet, her own style! Having an angelic melodic singing tone & then having versatility to get lyrical with the rap flow shows major skills. Candy Cubana is spunky, raw, versatile, savvy, fresh, but smooth and sexy; And partially cuban as well, in which her artist name was inspired. Her style and flavor is one original fresh sound for the women that need to be heard! Branching out to other avenues, she now has her own Podcast 'Blunt Babe' Created Feb 14th 2021.
