There are 2 main groups of numbers to remember: cardinal numbers (количественные числительные) and ordinal numbers (порядковые числительные).

The Cardinal numbers show the quantity and answer the question – How many/How much? Сколько? For example, 2 телефона, 4 компьютера (2 phones, 4 computers);

The Ordinal numbers show the order and answer the question – Which? Который? For example, первый – the first, десятый – the tenth.

In this lesson we’ll learn about the cardinal numbers.
