First of all, we want to thank all of you for being part of this space and embracing the act of deep listening. For your willingness to slow down, be present and share this ambient experience with us. We are grateful for your open attention, open ears and open heats.

We are deeply grateful for the artists who said yes to a different kind of setting and atmosphere, where the focus is on the act of listening, not on the performance.

Behind the scenes and preparing for Resonant Spaces - 17 may 2026 in Cluj-Napoca.

The session “deep space and beyond” was born from a collaborative work between Bogdan from Sound and Silence and Robert from Mieresch

Duo-ul Ancient Core va fi prezent la Resonant Spaces, un eveniment de muzică ambientală care va avea loc la Mănăstirea Franciscană, pe data de 17 mai 2026.

Ancient Core este un proiect de muzică electronică în duo stabiliți în Cluj, care produce muzică downtempo, psybient și chill-out. Inspirat de natura și folclorul transilvan, muzica lor prezintă ritmuri organice, atmosferice, broken-beats, combinate cu elemente narative liniștitoare, meditative și melodice.

Concertează din 2008 la diverse evenimente și festivaluri din Europa.

Ancient Core is a duo electronic music project based in Cluj, producing downtempo, psybient and chill-out music. Inspired by transylvanian nature and folk Lore, their music features organic, atmospheric broken beats combined with soothing, meditative and melodic storytelling elements.

Have performed since 2008 @ various events and festivals throughout Europe.

Sound and Silence va aduce instrumentele acustice rezonante pe scena Resonant Spaces, un eveniment special într-un spațiu cu o acustică aparte, care va avea loc la Mănăstirea Franciscană, Cluj-Napoca, pe 17 mai 2026.

„Sunetul în tăcere” este un proiect sonor care creează peisaje sonore meditative folosind o diversitate de instrumente rezonante, de la gonguri mari la boluri, clopote și trompete tibetane.

Bogdan Bufnea este un povestitor. Tăcerea, timpul, spațiul, ritmul, pulsația, timbrul și ecourile sunt tovarășii lui și culorile de pe vasta pânză a expresiei sale artistice.

Sound to silence is a sound project that creates meditative soundscapes using a diversity of resonant instruments from big gongs to bowls, bells and tibetan trumpets.

Bogdan Bufnea is a storyteller. Silence, time, space, rhythm, pulsation, timbre and echoes are his companions and the colors on the vast canvas of his artistic expression.
