I've been in the film business since 1985 and I have worked in almost every department in the film production process, mainly as a location manager, production manager and FAD at both Swedish and international feature film productions. I started my film career as an editor and documentary filmmaker. My short CLOSE TO THE SOIL (2001) won the top awards at both Aspen and Telluride in 2001. I founded
the production company Chinema Film Sweden in 2013. I have produced & co-written the feature MY AUNT IN SARAJEVO (2016) on refugees from the Yugoslav wars, which was nominated for six Guldbaggar (Sweden’s top honour). I also produced the multiple rewarded festival favourite EAT SLEEP DIE which gave me a Guldbagge (Sweden’s top honour) for Best film and was Sweden’s candidate for the Academy Award in 2013. As a producer and co-editor I released the doc LOINDY THE RETURN OF LITTLE LIGHT (2019) which was nominated for the Prix Europa Iris Award and received the New Nordic Voice award at Nordisk Panorama in 2019. In 2023 Chinema Film Sweden will release the documentary THE DEAR JOHN LETTER by director Bill Watts. I also work as a script coach and I gives lectures at different Swedish film schools, focusing on the film production process, with a special interest in the working environmental issues.
