Join us for a special gathering of the Contact Improvisation community in Portugal and beyond—a full day dedicated to practice, connection, collective care, awareness, and wild improvisation.

In collaboration with Servivo, Partícula Extravagante, Assembly, and Jakob Maché, the day will include:

✨ Morning Lab/Class
✨ Underscore Talk-Through
✨ Global Underscore (GUS)
✨ Performative Evening featuring presentations from the 21-Day Horizons Research Camp and spontaneous CI performances

🔹 What is the Global Underscore?
The Underscore, developed by Nancy Stark Smith, is a long-form improvisation structure that integrates Contact Improvisation and composition. Each year, near the summer solstice, dancers around the world gather simultaneously to participate in this shared 4-hour global practice.

đź‘Ą Who is it for?
Participants should have some experience with Contact Improvisation. If you have never attended a Global Underscore before, participation in the Talk-Through (12–1 PM) is mandatory.

Global Underscore + Talk-Through: sliding scale €15–30.
Morning Lab/Class and Performative Evening: Conscious Donation.
