The Mother Tree has a long history of hosting cultural programs, especially musical events. For generations this has been a hang-out for the young and enthusiastic. It has witnessed years of cultural fusion throughout the colonial periods and for 63 years of independance. Today the tradition of cultural celebrations is expected to continue with "TREE FRESH" a youth collaborated union. We hope that the young people here today find this tradition worthwhile and will pass it on for generations to come. The "MOTHER TREE" celebration has been a platform to showcase all sections of people of this Multi_Ethnic town for "The Renewal of the Ritual of Life".

The world we have created is a product of our thinking; it cannot be changed without changing our thinking. If we want to change the world we have to change our thinking...no problem can be solved from the same consciousness that created it. We must learn to see the world anew.
