Music Hackspace

Music Hackspace Artist community for DIY musicians and sound designers We learn, together, to do more art with less. http://musichackspace.org

We celebrate quirky and different approaches to making music, re-appropriation and recycling as the purest forms of hacking, and support all forms of art that this approach generates. Hacking is a proud DIY culture that empowers individuals to embed their everyday life, knowledge and objects into artistic projects that are deeply personal. We value non-conformism, peer-learning, community, and above all, creative expression.

Incredible talent, bold experiments, late-night breakthroughs, and ideas we didn’t think were possible until they were running on a screen in front of us at ⚡️ “This was our very first Hackathon in Lisbon - and we were overawed by the effort and energy of everyone involved. In particular Richie Hawtin, whose input helped make this event very, very special”

Thank you to everyone who came, created, mentored, shared what they knew, and lost sleep over something worth losing sleep over ❤️
