In October we begin year two of Serafina Sock Yarn Club. You can chose to subscribe and receive a surprise kit every month or opt for just one purchase, that will also be a surprise.
I always ship the “clubs” on the first days of the month after the subscription. If you want to receive October, you must subscribe during September, and so on.

This summer in Algarve I had the time to return to natural dyeing. The space, the time and resources are wonderful, but I have been working with only two stove tops and four pots😄so, really slow living. Here are photos of coreopsis from our garden, used to dye both Serafina Highland DK and Serafina Silk Merino.
They will be in the shop by late September, along with other naturally dyed yarns.

O Outono aproxima-se e volta a apetecer tricotar, neste momento estou cá fora a tricotar um colete da Rebecca que se chama Luce. Tem várias opções, acho que vou escolher a gola redonda para variar, já tenho dois com decote em “v”. Há muitos modelos semelhantes com este tipo de desenho feito com laçadas, repararam? Escolhi este por me parecer o mais simples, não quero ter que estar muuuuiiito atenta, só um pouco atenta e o resto deixado à intuição😊
Começam agora os meus dias de verão preferidos, quando calor é atencioso e não nos esmaga.

My only make this summer. in Serafina Appenninica yarn hand dyed exclusively for this project. I don’t have enough skeins to have these in the shop but I will use it as inspiration to dye other bases.
This yarn comes from Italy, from a beautiful small project I really admire Maria Joao Tavares Pimentel and is one of my favourite Serafina bases both to dye and to knit.
