Let's finish this festival the way it deserves 🤩🌺

Brazilian artist, DJ, performer and educator Paolle Berklyn brings together music, drag, theatre and celebration in a practice built over fifteen years across Brazil and Europe. Her work explores freedom, transformation and collective joy through sound, body and performance.

As a DJ, Paolle creates immersive sets where music meets stage presence, humour and the energy of encounter. Her performances have travelled through festivals, pride celebrations and cultural spaces in Brazil, Portugal and beyond, always turning the dance floor into a place of connection and celebration.

And tomorrow, she will bring that energy to the closing night of Improv Fest Lisboa.

After a full day of workshops, performances and the living ecosystem of Jardim Improvisado, we gather inside Palácio do Grilo for the evening programme:

THURSDAY AT IMPROV FEST LISBOA ✨

Tonight we slow down.

At 21:30, NI! (Leon Sukhodolskii) Leon Sukhodolskii invites us into an immersive audiovisual journey where bass clarinet, saxophones, duduk, electronics and projected imagery become a single evolving composition.

Inspired by artists such as Nils Frahm, Arve Henriksen and The Cinematic Orchestra, NI! creates atmospheric landscapes for deep listening and contemplation.

And when the concert ends, the evening opens up.

22:30 — OPEN MIC & JAM SESSION

Musicians, performers, poets and curious humans are welcome to join or simply stay and enjoy the atmosphere.

No script.
No expectations.
Just listening, meeting and creating together.

The garden is alive 🌿

On 19 June, Palácio do Grilo transforms into a living ecosystem of performances, installations, music, poetry, movement and unexpected encounters.

For one day only, artists take over the gardens and hidden corners of a 300-year-old palace — creating something that has never existed before and will never happen again.

And when the sun goes down, the journey continues with the world premiere of WHO? WHERE? WHAT? by Yael Karavan & Rizumik, followed by a DJ set inside the palace.

Rita Spider performed with Cirque du Soleil and Matrix Live.
Rizumik is a US beatbox champion, vocalist, facilitator and former student of Bobby McFerrin.

Together they create a one-time-only experience where voice, movement, sound and audience energy shape the performance in real time.
