My scratchbuild maintenance platform, scale 1/48 is finished. 😊🤙
I based the construction upon that real footage, all sizes have been estimated thanks to the P-40 Aleutian Tiger standing just behind it.
I really like that kind of funny construction only based on reference pictures. 🤙🤙🤙

That was the last accessory to take place on my diorama and it took less than 30 minutes to paint it with my maestro 35 size 0. 🤙😎
Now, I just need to finish the antennas on my second P40, glue all open panels and it's finished.... 🍾😄
Next week, the final reveal on that second P40 Aleutian Tiger (all open version) and the complete diorama. 🙂
That P40 Royal Edition box was a great challenge, building 2 aircrafts of the same Squadron and integrate them on an immersive diorama was actually super funny. 👍

Buying artist paintbrushes is NOT expensive if you consider the lifetime expectancy and the final result you can achieve with them. 😊😉🤙

Here is a small comparison between 2 dry brush paintbrushes, you know why I work only with 😉😎

My go to dry brush paintbrush is the series 143 size 16 but there are other very cool models 🤙💝

The afternoon was dedicated to create a WW2 maintenance platform completely in scratch using residual photo etched pieces and plastic rods. 🤙
It's not done yet, some support bars and the working floor to add but it is in the right way. 😃
Dimensions were picked up on real footage, it will be cool on the diorama. 😎🤙
