Eyes of the Algarve — a weekend of Grateful Dead music in the sunny Algarve Coast of Portugal in Lagos, Portugal. September 10-12, 2026

Now that we're so close to the event, we're looking for a couple helping hands & extra staff!

1. Volunteer Wanted in Exchange for Free Ticket

On September 11 from 10am-12pm (only 2 hours). We are looking for one or two people that can help hang lights, move pallets, move tables, and decorate. Must be comfortable moving things and getting on a ladder.

We get: 2 hours of your time

You get: a free single-day ticket to Friday's show (music from 13h-22h) and a behind the scenes preview

2. Vendors for Inside the Venue

We're looking for one or two additional vendors inside the venue. If you're an artist that loves live music and can vibe with Deadheads, please reach out with what you make! You do not need to pay anything, but you will need to bring your own table.

3. Concert Videographer

This is a really special event, and we want someone that can capture the energy and memories of this experience. Please send us your quote, videography style, and any questions you have either via direct message or to [email protected]

‼️IMPORTANT ‼️ Change of boarding time for the Deadhead Catamaran Cruise

Boarding will now commence at 17h for the Deadhead Catamaran. For those that have tickets, plan to arrive at the Lagos Marina at 16:45 to get checked in.

Due to this 30 minute change in boarding time, we also moved up the beach meetup by an hour. It's taking place at Pirata Beach Bar, located on the expansive sandy beach of Meia Praia. Pirata opens at 10am, so you can arrive earlier if you'd like.

Pirata is accessible by walking, biking, train, Uber, Bolt, or local bus line.

See you all in a couple of weeks! More coming soon!

Less than one month until we're dancing together in Southern Portugal with our Deadhead friends from around the world!

After our meet & greet events on September 10th, we'll be celebrating live music for two days together at Wake Park Lagos.

September 11th lineup:

💥 STiZL - live looping on the keys and guitar with a blues and jazz influence to set the tone
🎸 Barko Waltz - classy and classic rock & roll with a rootsy yet still strangely modern vibe
🙌 Los Pissarros - an international group that brings soul, latin rhythms, R&B, jazz, funk and rock with a bold and dynamic sound
🌹 Grateful Nights - playing two sets of the music of the Grateful Dead in unique and creative ways, respecting the experimental and rootsy origins of the greatest American band, while still providing the freedom for each musician to bring their own personality.

September 12th lineup:
💥 STiZL - kicking off day 2 of music again
🎸 Slim Jim - a soulful blend of classic country, folk and old school rock and roll
🎶 Blueroomess - this Barcelona band blends the spirit of American folk, blues, and roots rock with a modern Mediterranean touch
🤘 Franc GuitarO & The MachinE - this rock duo plays music from the heart – performed with soul, grit, and a whole lot of fire
💃 Pissarro Duo with Cecília & William - expect powerhouse vocals and epic electric guitar
🌹 Grateful Nights - finishing up the event with two sets of the music of the Grateful Dead

We will not be holding inventory of the Eyes of the Algarve merch at the event.

What does that mean for you?

All merch must be pre-ordered by today (August 10th) if you want it available in time for Eyes of the Algarve!

Right now, you have two delivery options at check out:

1. pick up at Eyes of the Algarve (free option) or

2. delivered directly to you (worldwide shipping available).

The “pick up at Eyes of the Algarve” option will be removed after today.
