After I left my bavarian roots 6 years ago I started selling my macrame pieces as a nomad artist on the road. First with a backpack through India, then continued with my van around Europe on festivals and markets, until I arrived 3 years ago in southern Portugal... the place where my heart beats stronger and my feet root deeper everyday.. for now..

I'm living the colorful life of a creative mind, in the midst of the Portuguese countryside, near the west coast, surrounded by cork oaks, lakes and wonderful people.

The picture I am sharing today shows me behind my market stall at one of my favourite monthly local markets in the area.
These weekend are always a moment of coming together to share art, life, great food and music π€

This is not only a one - woman - business, this is me living my dream life and sustaining it with my art.
No words can express how much that fullfills me and makes me smile everyday. Some years back I would have never believed myself that I am able to do that.
But I put in the work, effort and persistence even in times when it felt impossible and too hard, because the vision of a free life in my own rhythm and pace was and is so clear and became a non negotiable!
