Madrid, Day One of the Exhibition
We arrived, unpacked the boxes, arranged our works, and finally saw how everything that had lived in our studios for months transformed into a real exhibition space.
It was especially wonderful to create this stand together with Katia Lipikhina — a remarkable artist and creator of extraordinary dolls. Together we planned the display, arranged the pieces, searched for the right balance between our artistic worlds, and ultimately created a space where every work can tell its own story.
My White Collection has finally left the studio and come to life here, surrounded by historic Madrid interiors, warm light, and its very first visitors.
I wanted to create more than just a collection of dolls — I wanted to create a small world. A little theatrical, a little whimsical, filled with light, texture, details, and stories that invite you to linger and look closer.
Today I would especially like to thank my beloved talented friends, without whom this collection would have been completely different.
❤️ Tatyana — an extraordinary felt artist. Her textile artworks became an essential part of the costumes. Thanks to her craftsmanship, many of these characters found their unique texture, personality, and presence.
❤️ Irina — my friend from Madeira and a talented artist who created the beautiful backdrops for the collection's photoshoots. Her work gave these characters their own atmosphere and sense of place long before they arrived in Madrid.
When you work on a large project, you truly realize how many people contribute a part of their soul to bring it to life.
Thank you, my dear friends 🤍
And thank you to everyone who has been here throughout this journey — supporting, waiting, encouraging, and believing in me.
Today, these characters met their audience for the very first time. And that is one of the happiest moments in their entire story.
See you in Madrid 🤍
