June 1st marks 11 years of Plague Within album, so check out some shots of the original piece as well as variety of production stages incl. the radical volta of shedding the face which to the band seemed too Monty Python-esque. I sobbed for a day then replaced it with the skull we all know. It has proven to have been a good idea, as its still one of my fave and best received cover artworks. I kept the scalpel as a funny pun. Enjoy!

Celebrating 8th years of Prequelle album ctd. Here is one of your favourite song illustrations for the insturumental epic Helvetesfönster with few closeups and concept doodle with noted ideas.
The eponymous hell’s window was a specifically cut medieval women’s attire, with a substantial opening on the side, through which glimpses of breasts would show. Pious zealots of the church therefore deemed it a portal through which one could peer into sin and from which the abyss looked back at them - fashion scandal of yore indeed. And it was merely supposed to be a berry picking stroll through the woods for her…
