It’s been a year since I decided to close the chapter of my life as an sfx makeup artist. Almost ten years of dreams, hard work, unforgettable people, lessons, ups and downs, and experiences that shaped the woman I am today.
This industry can be beautiful and creative, but also harsh and full of jealousy. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned through all these years, it’s to always listen to your heart, stay true to yourself and care less about other people’s opinions.
I used to think that being a celebrity makeup artist and working on huge campaigns with top brands was the definition of success and happiness. Funny how life works, because it turned out that on the other side of the world, selling seaside villas, I found a happiness greater than I ever imagined.
I don’t regret a single thing. Every experience led me here and I’ve never loved my life or myself more than I do now.
