Vasant Panchami, the festival celebrating the arrival of spring and honoring knowledge, wisdom, and culture, will be observed in Warsaw by the Association of Bengalis in Poland and Bihar Jharkhand Manch of Poland as an inclusive cultural event for all Indian communities in Poland, irrespective of religion, caste, or creed.
The venue has been chosen with deep respect and symbolism. The Maharaja School in Warsaw stands as a living tribute to the Maharaja who, during the Second World War, extended compassion and support to displaced Polish children, enabling them to continue their education, culture, and way of life with dignity. This legacy reflects India’s timeless ethos of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the belief that the whole world is one family.
We warmly invite members of all Indian communities in Poland to join this celebration and reaffirm the values of inclusiveness, unity, and shared humanity that bind India and Poland.
📅 Date: 24 January 2026 (Saturday)
⏰ Time: 10:15 – 14:00

Radosław Sikorski is heading out with the first state visit to India since both countires established a strategic partnership in 2024, and spoke on it at a conference in Warsaw, yesterday.

Running trough January 20th it will give two counties Sikorski described as fast-developing and democratic, while praising India’s global reputation for creating effective digital solutions, and hoping that India’s historical experience with colonialism and neocolonialism could provide a basis for dialogue on Russian aggression, where he admitted there is still a difference.

“India and Poland see the war in Ukraine differently, so I will be presenting it from the Polish and European point of view,” Sikorski said, hoping to urge more help for the invaded nation.

He will also highlight role that Polish companies play on the Indian market and benefits it could have from tightening ties with Europe.
